Circular head cap with male thread and vertical projections for a better grip.
It is manufactured in black with a red cap that includes the graphic fill symbol and the word ”OIL”. For models with G 1 1/4” and G 1 1/2” threads, it can be supplied with a yellow cap and the text ”DIESEL”. For large quantities, the lid can be supplied neutral or with the Company logo.
Made of polyamide 66 that ensures high mechanical resistance at low and high temperatures (Working temperature from -30°C to +100°C).
Supplied with Grade 70 Shore Oil Resistant O-Ring.
In the versions with air filter (polyurethane foam or sintered bronze), it is located under the cover and is easy to remove for cleaning and subsequent assembly.
These plugs allow the circulation of a high volume of air thanks to the vents located at the bottom of the plug. They are recommended to be used in systems where the variation of the oil level occurs frequently and in a short time, the entry and exit of air being necessary without causing undesirable overpressures (See graph of pressure flows).
In applications where the ventilation hole is subject to strong splashes, especially during start-up when the oil is still not very fluid, we suggest using the version with the sintered bronze air filter (filtration degree 30 microns). This allows air flow but slows down the overflow of oil since this type of filter is not absorbent.
Available in 1/4” – 3/8” – 1/2” – 3/4” – 1” NPT thread.
