These caps have a cylindrical head with vertical projections that allow easy manual tightening. It is made of black thermoplastic (Polyamide 66) and has a red cover with the text "OIL" under which the polyurethane air filter is located. Supplied with NBR 70 Shore flat gasket.
The maximum working temperature is 100°C.
They are designed to provide a good air flow combined with reduced external dimensions. The air flow "P" is indicated in the table in litres/min and measured at a pressure of 50 mbar.
Available version with blued steel rod and cylindrical section with a standard length of 195mm. For orders of min. 250u can be supplied customized.
In applications where the ventilation hole is subjected to strong splashes, especially during start-up when the oil is still not very fluid, we suggest the use of the version with the sintered bronze air filter (grade of 30 micron filtration). This allows air flow but slows down the overflow of oil since this type of filter is not absorbent.
