Round headed filler breathers diam. 70 mm with vertical ribs for better grip, threaded connection. Standard production in black with red lid complete with graphic fill symbol and the text "OIL". Manufactured from polyamide 66 ensuring high mechanical resistance at both low and high temperatures (-30°C/-22°F to +100°C/212°F). Oil resistant NBR flat seal 70 Shore durometer.

The polyurethane air filter (60 PPI) is located under the lid, easy to remove, clean and reinstall. These filler breathers have been designed where is required a large capacity of air flow as hydraulic tanks subject to rapid changes in the internal fluid volume.

This filler has an internal anti-splash system suggested for mobile applications or where the fluid inside is subjected to strong movements.

Main benefits.
Provide additional protection from moisture which can condense in your tank, causing oil breakdown and lose performance.
Provide positive head pressure to improve pump inlet suction condition.
You will experience increased breather life due to not breathing in on every hydraulic cycle. Can reduce breathing by as much as 90-95% increasing the life.
Performs oil containement function as anti splash.
Pressurized breather operation:
The use of the double valve system. minimizes the exchange of the air between the reservoir and the environment, as well the ingression of contamination thus the life of the air filter element is increased.
The double valve allows for a 0.03 bar/0.43 PSI pressure to be created in the reservoir to improve the suction conditions for pumps.
When the fluid level rises the existing air volume is compressed. and no air is exhausted out the breather until the crack pressure is reached (0.35 bar/5 PSI option 0.10 bar/1.45 PSI).
When the fluid level lowers, the tank pressure drops until a vacuum is created at which point, air will be drawn in trough the breather.
Air only escapes when the pressure in the reservoir exceeds the cracking pressure set. and air is only drawn in when the pressure in the reservoir drops below atmosphere.
The system will normally operate between those range most of the time so no breathing will take place. Airflow capacity: up to 750 Lt/min (see graphic).
